New Sink Mixers Launch [NZ]
Minimalism. Function. Form. Methven has successfully incorporated these elements into the design of four new products recently added to the Methven Kitchen Mixer range.

Available from 8 March 2010, the new products are yet another example of Methven's focus of developing world class products shaped with distinctive New Zealand architectural design.
Included in the new product selection is a sophisticated Minimalist spring pull-down sink mixer. Featuring twin-action spray and a swivel spout, it provides domestic kitchens with a level of function usually only afforded to professional kitchens.
Also included in the new architectural designs, Methven's new hi-rise vegie spray sink mixer with swivel spout provides an efficient way to wash vegetables and eliminate unnecessary water waste.
"Kitchen tapware shouldn't be perceived as a basic utility," says Kent Sneddon, Head of Design. "The kitchen is an area within the home where a homeowner may spend a substantial amount of time. Therefore, it makes sense to combine form and function into tapware. "

Also included in the new architectural design product range are a minimalist gooseneck sink mixer with pull out spray and swivel spout; and a minimalist sink mixer featuring twin handles and swivel spout.
Designed with smart features ensuring every Methven Kitchen Mixer works well and is easy to fit, every sink mixer uses ceramic discs rather than conventional washers; a design mechanism providing a permanent solution to dripping taps.
"Extra high spouts allow easy access and lots of space in the sink" says Kent Sneddon. "This is a practical benefit that every user will appreciate."
Complying with New Zealand backflow regulations, Methven's new range of Kitchen Mixers are available from leading plumbing and building merchants nationwide.
