October 2011 marks a monumental milestone for Methven Australia with the long awaited release of its evolutionary 2011 Red Dot Design Award winning Tapware range, Tahi Twin Lever Tapware; a highly desirable, architecturally designed tapware range that infuses modern design excellence with energy conscious efficiency.
Tahi Twin Lever extends the Methven brand proposition advancing tapware design by bringing together the very best in distinctive geometric styling with the latest in energy efficiency; infusing the two with innovative end user driven technology to provide the ultimate in water delivery experience.
"Its sharp visual definition is complemented by the unique Twin Lever feature that allows individual control of hot and cold water flow, using minimal and intuitive movements to promote energy efficiency by reducing the unnecessary use of hot water and associated energy consumption." Evenflo™, Methven’s patented water balancing technology, comes as standard on all Tahi mixer tapware, improving performance by reducing noticeable pressure and temperature fluctuations within a system, as well as allowing for a more precise transition from hot to cold. This not only makes the temperature setting easier for the user, but also minimises the risks of scalding and thermal shock.
This is particularly beneficial for shower mixers, preventing annoying and potentially dangerous fluctuations caused when other outlets are used during a shower and preserving the shower experience.
In total, the Tahi range will consist of 8 individual product configurations including a twin lever basin mixer, twin lever sink mixer, shower mixer with and without diverter, wall mounted twin lever basin and bath mixers, wall mounted bath spout and hob mounted bath spout. "A range that is tipped to be the choice of astute home owners wanting to combine inspirational design with functional efficiency" says Sneddon.
