New Zealand has it - now Italy's getting it...A shower that's enchanting the senses of Italian women [NZ]

New Zealand’s leading shower and tapware innovator, Methven, has just signed an exclusive licensing agreement with Italian luxury bathroomware supplier Visentin*, who will manufacture, distribute and sell Methven’s SatinJet® shower technology in France and Italy.

Italian women know a good shower when they feel one. 92% of Italian women, who had showered with SatinJet in in-market research conducted by Visentin, reported a discernibly positive difference in shower feel, and 80% described the experience as ‘sensuous’.

Guests at premium hotel Hilton Auckland, where SatinJet shower handsets have been fitted in every bathroom, and homeowners all around New Zealand, have been experiencing the SatinJet plumes for six months. The product has been beating sales expectations for New Zealand plumbing merchants since the launch in September 2004.

What’s different about SatinJet? The SatinJet shower technology fuses fine jet pairs of water together in a series of collisions, diffusing the surface tension of the water and creating plumes with a soft intensity and wide spray coverage, not experienced in showers before.
